Valentines Day History

Valentines Day is a day in which love is celebrated. It is celebrated every February 14th. According to theologists Valentine’s Day was actually created to honor a priest, but no one knows for certain the Valentines Day History. No one knows for certain, even, which priest. There were three St. Valentines. One was a priest who was a martyr in Rome. Another was a martyr in Terni. The last one was a martyr in Africa. There is no romance connected to any of these people. In the 1840s Leigh Eric Schmidt reinvented Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is a day that love is celebrated. This holiday exists throughout the world but is mostly celebrated in Europe and America. Many people who have friends, have family, or are romantically involved exchange gifts. Some gifts that may be exchanged are cards, flowers, chocolate, and etc.
