Animal CraftsWe at Texas Arts and Crafts make animal crafts. These arts and crafts signs are made of plywood. The signs are created in our workshop. Then are hand painted with several coats of Kilz house paint. The piece is then sealed with an acrylic sealer. Size and colors may vary slightly as the signs are hand crafted. The designs are from Sherwood Creations Inc. or Winfield Patterns. We use painted pine or cedar stakes, which are screwed onto the back of the signs. Some of the animals that we make are chickadees with red bird and blue bird, pig with apples, calf, mouse with corn and mushroom, eagle, alligator, ant eater, dolphin, chickens, rabbit with carrot, and pelican.
