4th of July Arts and CraftsMy parents make 4th of July arts and crafts. These items include Fire Crackers, Stars, Eagles, Uncle Sam Planter, America Shelf, Nesting Chicken Shelf, Lady Liberty, Uncle Sam God Bless America, and the United We Stand sign. The Fire Cracker, Stars, Eagles, Lady Liberty, Uncle Sam God Bless America sign, and the United We Stand sign are made out of plywood. The Uncle Sam Planter, Nesting Chicken Shelf, and the America Shelf are made out of cedar. My dad makes these items in his workshop. My mom paints the items with several coats of Kilz house paint. The piece is then sealed with an acrylic sealer. Size and colors may vary slightly as the signs are hand crafted. The designs are from Sherwood Creations Inc. or Winfield Patterns. My parents’ use painted pine or cedar stakes, which are screwed onto the back of the yard art. For the continental U.S. shipping and handling is included in the listed price.
